There's this magazine that wants to put us on the front cover of their next issue. We took a long hard leaf thru' our photo albums and decided that we were bored with all the images we had of ourselves, as a band (not that there is anything wrong with them, you understand), just that well, we're getting set to launch Phase II of what our manager calls "our career" as Taxi Violence. Also our publicist keeps telling us that he can't work with blunt instruments, or something like that, so last nite we went out to shoot some new pictures with our good friend and photo genius Craig Kolesky/SanDisk. We went to this new trendy club in cape town (the sort of place we wouldn't go to normally y'know, where the bouncer won't let us in 'cos we're not wearing the right shoes or 'cos our outfits cost less than the price of a round of drinks at their bar)..ha ha, so there we were. We had this idea to include some hot girls in our shoot. Our publicist said no, not enough time for that, so we made do with his girlfriend instead. (We’ll try show share those photos with you somewhere soon...hee hee.)

People started arriving at the club so we had to move on. Next to The Extreme Hotel. Cowabunga dudes you gotta see this place! It’s a hotel – made for extreme people! They have skateboards hanging on the wall in the lobby. And really nice, individually themed bathrooms! You can chose a bog according to your mood. Their bathrooms have alarms in them if you try touch anything (besides what you came in with, or what you’re leaving behind, ifyouknowhatwemean)., or if you hold the door open for too long. We did a shoot in the smoking room, called the Coughing Room, which is made out like a funeral parlour/Heaven’s waiting Room! (we should be so lucky!) The benches are real cough-cough-coffins! We hope you like the new pics as much as we do.
