SACRIFIST - The Well of Sacrifice

I honestly thought that I was going to have to kick Nick in the nuts. Last month he gave me death metal from France (RE: Bloody Sign) that I was iffy about at first. And this month he gives me melodic death metal from South Africa! And I must say once again that I am pleasantly surprised! SacriFist's newest release "The Well of SacriFice" is a fist pumping **** kicking shove you hand up your rectum and out your mouth metal album! With an undeniable Arch Enemy guitar influence thundering drum work and raspy vocals of an almost-makes-you-****-your-pants-sort how could they of gone wrong? By not having any real variety in the tones of the songs. (My one and only gripe) Other than that it's a solid metal album. I guess this means that I should stop judging bands by their county of origin. :) -CS

Special Gig in Bloemfontein !

SacriFist is off to Bloemfontein on the 9th June to perform at the birthday gig of Matt who attends St Andrews.   So all you Freestaters come and party with us at the show grounds. Gig starts at about 6pm and there are 3 Bloem bands performing – United Front Steeplepike and Ichor.

Zeplins Annual Sun2Moon Festival

Next Gauteng gig is at Zeplins Sun2Moon on the 30th June.  Gig starts in the arvie and SacriFist will be on the metal stage at about 8pm.  Check out the flyer at www.zeplins.co.za

New Album News

Material for the new album is sounding incredible.  The launch is planned for the beginning of November.

Snakesssssssssssssssss

SacriFist, Chokehold and FractalMetal have adopted 3 snakes who reside at Aqua-Aviaries in Walkerville.  SacriFist claimed the Black Mamba called Virus and FractalMetal has adopted the Burmese Python named Belial and Chokehold are still deciding on the name of their Red Tailed Boa Constrictor.  It's a metal thing!!!
