Biography

THE SOUND:
Our main sound comes from thrash with influences such as Megadeth, Machine Head and Trivium. Each member has a different taste so we do try to blend it all together as much as we can. Most bands today are busting out the break-downs and screaming ther asses off through the whole song... And its fucking awesome!!! But we love our old-school!!! And what happens when two worlds collide?...Infanteria is what happens!! Old school meets melodic death metal. Thats our sound!

THE STORY:
Old school meets new age melodic death metal. Thats how we see ourselves at least. When the band started it was just Chris and his brother Robbie, and they sucked. When they first met Barry he digged their stuff, and without thought he asked to join the band along with a very creepy Balgarian named Demitri. So then Infanteria had three lead guitarists and a drummer. As you can imagine this caused conflicts and so we sacked the creepy guy. Now all we need was a bass player. "Who in this world could ever play such simple, yet haunting riffs on a bass?" we asked ourselves... and sure enough we looked down upon the courtyard of our school from upstairs and pointed to the first person we saw. This random young lad went by the name of Jarrod and so we called out to Jarrod, "JARROD!!!! INFANTERIA SUMMONS YOU!!!!" and suddenly his clean white school shirt burnt off his hairless white body and grew instead... a Slipknot T-shirt. Then his wrists began to bleed as spikes were born from his flesh. The transformation was complete. We had created a monster. Then after much chanting from the ancient Book Of Rock, a bass guitar, blood red, rose from the depths of hell. We dubbed thee... our bass player. After much debate about the best guitarist in the world, we heard a haunting sound coming from Barry's PC. Where is this insane shredding coming from... who is that?"... it was the insane Michael Angelo. The crazyness of his shredding gave us all inspiration to become better players and so we practiced. For 5 months we trained in the harshest of elements, coming close to death on numerous occasions. Now today, we are... shredders. We then found out about this amazing piece of drum equipment called the double bass pedal and we had to have it. Slowly we transformed from a ripp off of Metallica to a band that fuses old school riffs and singing with death metal screams, solos, fast picking and double bass beats... even blasting *echoes* Infanteria only gets better by the day so support us and follow us into greatness. We are INFANTERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
