Biography

2000: Bought pipsqweak sequencer and started to play around with looping wav files.  Had an Intel Celeron 300 MHz.  Played through cheap desktop speakers.  One mouse broken.

2001 - 2003: Hobby period.  Got more ram.  Started to sample from different songs.  Still secretly playing for myself.  Played through hi-fi. Two mice broken.

2004 - 2006: Obsession period.  Aquired a better sequencing program.  Commited myself to being original.  Upgraded to Intel Celeron 2.4 GHz.  Songs became more complex.  Played on Cerative SBS desktop speakers.  Three mice broke.

2007 - Present: Initial publishing period. Started to aquite  software  on a  grander scale. Bought better hardware.  Computer is a Pentium 4 2.8GHz.  Moving through different styles as abilities and interests fluctuate.  Started to record ambience and  chip sounds.  Finally have a midi input keyboard.  Professional headphones, four channel mixer, Two sets of SBS speakers.  One mouse lost, one broken.

2009 - Looking around where I can publish.  Maturing.  No hardware broken yet although I wasted quite a few wires.

Ek sê, gebruik autotuners, maar moenie maak asof jy dit nie doen nie. Dit maak my so kwaad as mense hulleself so indoen. Dit maak alles so onpersoonlik. Ek hou daarvan as mense vals sing, dis die emosie wat deurkom. Wat as jy nou die Beatles gaan pitch correct? Dit gaan verskriklik klink.

wel im a fan of technology, wheter you use a pitch corrector or not its there to help those that can or cannot sing.its like saying if you use a virtual synth and a software daw system your not a muso unless you have a studio of thousands of rands and a huge selection of synths then your a serious muso.i say bull@#%t!!!!

Trip out, album eleven, I envision being extremely relaxing. Ideal for the traffic. Then I got album 9 called gRof. It's harder than hard. The cover will be a running brick I drew one day.

Thanks Donovan. I'm thankful that the shelflife is so long. New CD is more, ehm, oets-oets, but next one has some funk, swing and piano/organ ecc. influences. Kinda like if the sixties had pentiums. The tenth album is Quarantine, it's darker than the others. I want to bump it up a bit to number six.
