Biography

Formally known as Golgotha, As Flames Purify are a Christian metal band out to have much fun and meet as many people as they can along the way. They have being playing for just over a year in around town and are now branching out into other cities. The band started with years of the Meyer brothers jamming Metallica and writing their own songs. The band saw Bruce join them on bass in 2005 and had Ken join as lead vocalist in 2007. The meaning behind our name, As Flames Purify, comes from the understanding that just as though we may go through times of hardship and struggle it only makes us stronger.
