In 2006 Norden, wanting to enter Africa Visions Song Writers Of the Year decided to find members for the contest. After finding Warren as the drummer the beginning of a band had started. The name Sacred Estate was decided and from then on nothing has been the same! After only practicing for three weeks the band came third in Africa Visions audience choice. Not having a bassist was proving to be a hindrance with up and coming gigs. With Norden and Warren both studying music at The Campus Of Performing Arts finding a bassist seemed to be an easy task...but little did they know that this would be their hardest task as a band. After weeks of searching Matt was discovered. Matt only being a guitarist seemed a dodgy choice at the time but proved to be the perfect fit. Since then the band has never been the same, on stage and off. The band had a rocky start with a few members leaving but it was time to find another guitarist. Michiel offered to join the band and after one practice the band knew he was the right choice! With each member studying music full time and having years of experience playing music in various bands, Sacred Estate is ready to blow you away!
