Inherent SCARS only got together with its current lineup in around August/September of 2006. Clinton and Craig had been playing guitar together in multiple bands for the past 8 years and have been working on finding a sound that they where happy with for that entire time. The first Inherent SCARS songs where written in the months of June and July by Clint and Craig. The only problem is Clint and Craig didn’t have a band to play the songs with. That’s when Juan and Chappy joined Inherent SCARS. They had both been previously playing in bands together but had the same bad luck as Clint and Craig with finding the right band. With Juan on vocals, Chappy on bass guitar and Clint and Craig on guitars Inherent SCARS took shape in September. The band then met up with Wouter who would become the drummer of Inherent SCARS and this lineup would be the one that would see Inherent SCARS playing their first gig together. Inherent SCARS first gig was on the 27th October at the Cotton Club in Port Elizabeth. Since then the band has been working on more new songs to give an even better performance gig after gig. Wouter then joined A Fix For Grace and we decided to try and get Avo in  to play drums for us which has turned out to be a total blessing for Inherent SCARS. We've also intoduced a second vocalist in the form of our friend Dyl to take Inherent SCARS to yet another level. The band is also currently working on recording a demo album for distribution. Inherent SCARS is a band who prides themselves on trying to be an original band bringing a new sound into the very competitive music business. The bands sound is about bringing across emotion, emotion not only thru the vocals but through the instruments played by every member of the band.
